An Interesting Day

Well today was a very interesting day for me. I had an appointment to get a punch biopsy. I wasn't sure if the insurance company would pay for it, but it did. There was a bump on my arm and I wasn't quite sure what it had come from. The doctor seemed to think that a bug had bit or stung me, and my skin had grown as a scar over it.

So I went to the doctors, I layed down on this chair that they had. I layed on my stomach and my arm layed by my side. I have to say that I was very nervous. First they gave me a local anistetic, which worked pretty good. Then the doctor used this thing that she described as a cookie cutter, and removed the bump. Then I got my first stitches, except for the time I got my wisdom teeth out. It was so weird to be awake as they did it.

The doctor kept asking me if I was feeling hot or queasy. I kept telling her that I couldn't tell, but that I was sweating. Then they said I got really red, and then I turned really white. And I almost passed out. It was interesting.

Right now it hurts a little bit, and itches really bad. I should find out the results some time this week.

Well I hope that I didn't gross anyone out. I hope that you have a Blessed Day!

God Bless,
Nicole

"Dreamer"

Well after a good dinner, of Corned Beef and Cabbage, my family all settled down to watch this movie. I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I won't reveal too much about the plot, for those who haven't seen it yet. But it was an excellent family film. I teared up a bit, over a few scenes.

Well I hope that you have a Blessed Day! Tell me what you think about the movie!

Why are there chunks in my ranch?

Ok so let me tell you about one of my, not so bright moments. Tonight we went to Friday's after youth service. We went for Maria's Birthday. Well I order the Three-for-All appetizer. This consists of Buffulo wings, mozzarella sticks, and potatoe skins. Well when they give you the spicy wings they usually give you celery sticks. There were also three dipping sauces. So I went to dip the celery in the ranch dip that I had. To my disgust there were these large white chunks, in the ranch. I was soo disgusted, so I started to complain. "Why are there chunks in the ranch?' I asked as i pushed the large chunks onto the plate. I forget who said it. But they said "Nicole that isn't ranch it's bleu cheese."

Well everyone got a nice laugh out of that so I thought that I would share it with everyone else to give you all a laugh, too.

I hope that you have a Blessed Day!

Nicole

Why the Frog?

Ok so I have a post of a picture of a frog. Thank you Emily for your comment. I think that I am going to have a frog picture of the month? Lol. Look forward to the next one in a month.

Why the frogs you may ask? I can't help it I love frogs. Brother Donald from my church found me this frog carved out of wood, and my quest for special frogs grew. I now have 3 wooden ones, and several glass ones. I will try to post pictures of them soon.

I also have two living frogs, which are in a tank, that I ashamedly admit, has seen better days. There are soo cute, I call them Scaredy Cats. They will float at the top of the tank until I make a noise, then they will hide behind the filter for hours.

Well now you know why I posted a picture of a frog. Aren't God's creatures beautiful?

I hope that you have a Blessed Day!

Nicole

A Prayer Request

I had asked for prayer for Candice. She was doing much better, and had even been released on Sunday. Sadly tonight she went back to the emergency room. Please pray for her. I know that anything is possible for our God!

A Praise Report

Well I told you that this would be coming so here it is!

I really was struggling with my stress level. I was stressing out about a lot of things. Well on Sunday night, Brother Donald preached an awesome message, "The Waiting Room". About how God never intended us to be inactive while we were waiting.

So Sunday night I gave it all to God, and I felt the release. I feel so much better. Now I know that I don't have to worry, that I just need to pray more about everything.

I know that I am human, and that occasionally I may stress out about this again. But it helped to be reminded that God is there, and that I can give it all to him.

I hope that God Blesses you through out this wonderful day!

Nicole

Finally a post on Saturday!

Well I am certainly proud of myself. It is Saturday and I am posting. lol. Just a little about my weekend so far.

Friday Night- I went to the youth rally at the Westland. Which was awesome. I would just like to say to the HeavenBound youth group that you all did such a wonderful job on your drama. Which I know would not have been possible without Sister Kendra. So I want to also say: Sister Kendra you did a beautiful job, and you sang very well. The service went good. Brother Hartzell preached an awesome message. It was one of those messages that really makes you think.

Saturday- Well I actually got to sleep in today, which was nice. I went to visit Candice. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. They still do not know what is wrong. Then I went home and ate a delicous meal that my mom made. After working on some things for Sunday School. I sat down and watched "Walk the Line". Which I have to say, was a pretty good movie. However I do not like the man who played Elvis, I had to keep guessing which one was him.

Well I hope that you have a Blessed Day. I am going to bed, so that I will be ready for Sunday School tomorrow.

God Bless,
Nicole

Last Day of School

Ok, so not actually. However next week is Spring Break and I am SOO excited. I hope that I get to sleep ALOT. And I will be getting my hair permed. It is the small things in life that get me excited.

Tomorrow is the Youth Rally at Westland. I am expecting great and mighty things. We even might be bringing two visitors to the rally. God has really been moving in our services at church. So, I am praying for another awesome move of the Holy Ghost.

Please pray for Candice, she has had undiagnosed pain for 1 month now. I am praying that the doctors find out what is wrong, and soon.

Well I hope that you have a Blessed Day!

God Bless,
Nicole

One Crazy Weekend

Wow, how can I some up a whole weekend in one post. I should really make an effort to post on Saturdays. My weekend was pretty good. Saturday I woke up and went to a choir clinic. I had never been to one before so it was pretty interesting. Next I went to Scotty's Fish and Chips, with friends. I chicken and fries. I have to say, that if you are in this area, 5 Mile and Lahser, it wouldn't be a bad place to stop. Its a pretty small restaurant, but the food is pretty good. From there we went to Monster Jam, at Ford Field. It was a lot of fun, loud but fun.

I got sick though when I got home, so sick that I couldn't walk, or I was going to get sick. If you know what I mean. So I layed on the couch until 2:30 and finally made it to my bedroom. I woke up on Sunday morning, ready for Sunday School. I actually got up with enough time to curl my hair. I really should do this more often, but I like my sleep. : ) I went to the westland church, who had a choir concert today. I have to say that it went VERY, VERY well. All of the choir did a very good job. Sister Kendra has such an awesome voice, I wish that I could have a voice like hers. The thing about her singing, was she was sick and still sounded awesome. God has truely blessed her.

After the choir concert, I went back to my church, for the evening service. Pastor McCool preached a very good message, and I ended up bawling my eyes out. Can I ask you to pray for me though? I am really struggling with a few things, and I need to work through them. Its not anything, like turning from God, I just need to deal with it. I guess that is kind of general, but one post soon, I will be giving the praise report, of me conquering it.

Well I hope that you have a Blessed Day!

God Bless,
Nicole

Our Adventure!

What A Day! Today I took my little cousins to the mall. They are two year old twins and are SOOO cute. I started off the afternoon by taking them to Burger King, they seemed to enjoy their meal. They both got Sponge Bob toys which they liked.

Then we went to Oakland mall, and took a walk. We got to see two big Monster Trucks, I can't believe how big there tires are! It was almost as tall as me. The Boys seemed to really enjoy them. They would not touch them though. Then I took them to the play place. It was so neat to see them climb on the play things. They had a huge alligator, and one of the twins, grabbed the open mouth, and started to yell, "Bite, Bite!"

They were pretty sad to leave, but they got cookies, from Mrs. Fields and they really liked those.

I hope that you have a Blessed Day!

God Bless,
Nicole

How do you like the ice?

I slept in as long as I could, to avoid going outside. I do not like driving in the snow or ice. This is probably because my first accident was in the snow.

I have to say that I did not enjoy scraping the layer of ice off my car this morning. There is not away around it. In class we were talking about this, one kid said he went and poured a pot of hot water on his car. is it just me or does this not seem very smart? This other kid talked about taking a blow torch to his car. Whatever happen to the old fashioned car scraper?

Well I hope that you all have a Blessed day! Stay safe and warm.

God Bless,
Nicole
