Christmas for Christ
Well, today was our Christmas for Christ service. And for the first one that we have had, I thought that it went very well.
A big thank you to everyone who helped out!
The service went well. We had a special choir get up and sing. They sang, What Child is This, Away in a Manger, The First Noel, Jingle Bells, and Joy to the World. Then the children sand a few songs, and did such a good job. It was a nice time!
We also had an awesome service tonight. The Spirit of God moved, and it was wonderful.
And update on my Pastor, his wife, and their son. They are all home, and adjusting to be home. I am so thankful for what God did! Thank you for all of you who, through this blog prayed!

Here's my Sonnet
Hurt wanes through the passage of the seasons,
And seasons of these lives will ever change.
Passing time that ticks beyond my reason.
Winter, a silent growth, which eye view strange,
Dormant, cold, covered with heavy white.
Arrival of spring echoes through the songs,
The resting creatures wake from a long night.
Love and joyous tunes, drive away the wrongs.
Perils of winter are soon forgotten.
Just a bitter memory--- A cool breeze
Rushing through the spring, now will minds rotten?
Yet warmth surrounds and we forget with ease.
When the time passes with out me knowing,
Winter is over, now spring is growing.

Reach for the Stars
What does this phrase mean to you?
I think that it means, to go for the best, to expect the best. However, I was thinking about this lately. Now I do not think that there is anything wrong with having high expectations. But, I was just thinking, when we do this, do those around us suffer? Do we?
If we always have the ideal in our mind, then are we truely looking at the bigger picture. Are we missing the other things in life, because we have our eyes on the prize. In childhood, we did not have a problem, reaching for the stars, in fact everything around us, encouraged that. So what happens when we become adults? I think that we are encouraged that dreams, aren't realistic.
When did the mentality change? When did dreams, need to become realistic goals? Why are we encouraged to dream in the first place?
We change our minds so much in life. I don't think that it is a bad thing. Change is good. I need to focus on embracing change a little more often
Well that is my thought for the day, hope you enjoy!

Few and Far Between
Sometimes I dream of a day when I was a better blogger. When subjects came naturally and easily. And I had the time. But life began to get busier, and I became more tired. So here it is. One, while most could blog serveral in half the time. lol
and here it goes...
So I thought it would be fitting to put in a little update of my life. For one thing I am very happy, and very blessed. I continuely thank God everyday, for the wonderful miracles that He has performed in my life.
I am doing pretty well in class. And I am almost done with the semester. Thankfully. But it hasn't been all bad. In fact classes have went quite well.
So I have some good news.... At the end of this semester, and a final audit of my grades, I will get my Associates Degree of General Studies. I am kinda proud of myself, because I thought it would take forever to get where I am now.
I am also glad, that I will be transferring to a local four year university, in the near future. Probably fall of next year. I will be majoring in History. I LOVE HISTORY!!
I am thinking about posting the paper that I wrote for my history class, that I got an A on. I don't even know if anyone would be interested in reading it. But I really liked the paper.
So my challenge for the end of this sememster, is to write a sonnet. Now I have dabbled in writing poetry before. I love poetry, but I am not very good at symbolism. So I am working hard on this. And if I do well I might post it.
Other news....
Christmas is coming soon, and I hope that everyone has a Blessed Holiday!
I have been working on getting all the Christmas gifts together, I have one bought, and I think I know what I am going to buy for everyone, now it is just a matter of buying it.
Alright, well hopefully I will be able to post again soon.
Have a Blessed Day!
