update
Wow... where to begin...
Well first of all, I am sorry that it took me a week to post, my goodness. I was posting every day, for a strech, and then it was like I didn't post anything. And now it is Friday.
So I have some great news... I have a job. I really enjoy it, I am working at a florist, and so far it has been great. I am still in training, and there is a lot to learn, but as I said I am enjoying it.
Well I will post the Friday Five later.
So until then, have a great day!

Friday Five
definatly not, I really need to work in that.
2. Where’s the nearest swimmable body of water?
umm, about 10 miles from me
3. When did you learn to swim?
I took classes when I was little. I could never do the floating thing.
4. How do you feel about rain?
I love rain, and storms, I love storms. Just not at night when they wake you up. Howvere when you forget to roll your windows up in your car, then I do not like hem as much.
5. What are your thoughts on bottled water?
I dont know. Sometimes I wonder if it is really all its suppose to be. Who says its really from a spring, or something like hat. I do like flavored water though.

In need of an Opinion
The other day, I had a quiz in my anthropology class. Here was one of the essay questions:
Why is there a conflict between religion and evolution? Is there a conflict for you?
The first part of the question I understood. We covered the material in class. I felt it was a fair question. However, I see no reason for the second part of the question. I do not really see what it had to do with my comprehension of the course material.
I didn't know what to do. So instead of answering that question, I left it blank. I did answer the rest of the questions to the best of my ability.
So my question is, what do you think about the question? Do you think it was fair?

His Strength
I think that there is a common misconception, that if there are trials in your life it is ok to walk away from God. I actually was told that by someone. Well I think that, the frame of mind that says that is ok, is wrong. I am sorry if I am troubling anyone's philosophy right now. However I feel pressed from God to speak my heart.
Everything that happens in my life happens for a reason. Even though the devil may have meant it to harm me, God has a grand design. A Master plan. His ways are not our ways. So when we feel weak, or tried, or betrayed, we simply need to lean on Him harder. As the song says, we will never feel God's strength until we recognize our weakness.
This song speaks to my soul, and gives me peace. Things may come my way, and I might not know what to do. However, though everyone else may walk away. God has been there from the start. Even though I may not have any strength, on my own, I have Christ's strength to draw from. THANK YOU GOD!!

Labor Day
My house looks completely different right now. We are redoing our family room, and painting the house. So things look a little crazy right now. Jackie took some pictures so I will try to post some of those soon.
We are getting new furniture. And new carpet. I cant wait to see it all put together.
Tonight we are going to a bbq, with the class that my parents teach. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Holiday.
Back to School tomorrow!

Scavenger Hunt (new) & Friday Five
I know that I posted it on my other blog. But this little guy is soo cute. They tried to explore our garbage during the vacation. (Eww!) It is a woodchuck, or ground hog, its up to your preference.
Friday Five
1. What kind of marks (grades) did you get in school? In High School I did pretty poorly, but in college I am doing MUCH better. I have even made the Deans List.
2. Do you have any birthmarks? no
3. What’s the story behind one of your scars? Ok I have a scar on my elbow, and that was from a punch biopsy, I have blogged about it before.
4. What do you usually use to mark your place in a book? Ok this is really bad, sometimes I dog ear the pages. Which I am getting away from now. I will use the receipt from the library, a index card, or right now I am using a frog bookmark.
5. What famous Mark do you most admire? I don't really know any famous Marks. But I guess I admire Mark from the Bible.
